It's finally here. After years of talking, planning, and waiting, we head out for the Grand Tour Across America. Starting in Florida, we are driving across the country to southern California, taking a cruise out of LA, then when we get back, heading up the coast to Seattle and taking another cruise there to Alaska. In between we'll hit Biloxi, New Orleans, San Antonio, Marfa, Santa Fe, Sedona, and anywhere else that strikes our fancy.
We hope to see the Marfa lights while we're there. We also plan to visit this attraction in the middle of nowhere, west of Marfa
There's just so many places we've never been in this country and we really want to see as many as we can. We'll probably visit 8 or more national parks though I am really bummed I can't go to Crater Lake as the park is closed while the roads are being rebuilt. Perhaps we'll do that trip in a few years. I hope to post more as we go along. Until then, the road is calling.
